Music Ministry at
First Presbyterian Church

Easter 1999

We here at First Church are blessed with a strong tradition of music ministry both in Sunday worship and in special concerts and events throughout the year. Ours is a graded program, with participation from early primary years through octogenarians and beyond. We walk a blended path of praise, with music ranging from classical to contemporary. We hope that you will take a moment to read about the groups here at our church and maybe even consider joining one that appeals to you. Also noted are events offered in the coming year. We are grateful for your support of Music Ministry at First Presbyterian through your prayers and participation.

Soli Deo Gloria Concert Series 2008 - 2009

Supported by the Friends of Music at First Pres., this concert series brings great artists to Salem to give a concert in our magnificent Colonial-style sanctuary. It is a communal endeavor involving musicians, listeners, and financial supporters, each of whom worship with their involvement. These concerts provide a chance to invite friends to church in a low-pressure atmosphere and enjoy great sacred and secular music. You may start to pick up tickets 3 - 4 weeks before the performances in the church's main office. See the church newsletter, the calendar below, and posters around the church for upcoming events.
