Men at Work: Each month a different man will host this unique fellowship event at his place of business. Friendships deepen as you learn about each others' daily work. Faith is strengthened as friendships grow, as you laugh together, and as you share how being a man of faith and a working man intersect.
Men in Service: Througout the year there are ongoing opportunities to minister to our community and to our church, including these great ministries: Habitat for Humanity First Presbyterian has agreed to put forth a general construction crew one Saturday each month from 8 a.m. - noon, and you can be part of it. Salem Interfaith Hospitality Network First Presbyterian Church hosts SIHN families for 7 days, Sunday evening through Sunday morning, about 4 times each year. Each Sunday will see furniture that needs to be moved in and set up or packed up and moved out. All through the week volunteers are needed to prepare and serve meals, stay overnight, and just spend time with the families. Men's Bible Study: Several Bible studies are available for men: Men's Bible Study Fellowship This non-denominational men's Bible study group meets at 7 p.m. each Monday at the church. For more information: contact George Burt (503-393-8734). Pastor's Bible Study Join the pastors each Tuesday at 12 noon for this study of the scripture passage used for the next Sunday's sermon. Bring your lunch; coffee and tea are provided. Friday Morning Men's Bible Study This group meets at 6:45 a.m. each Friday at Annette's in West Salem (at Edgewater and Kingwood Avenue -- one block east of the Rosemont Exit).
